Listening to the sermons of Gurus or Yogis or by the study of scriptures or by meritorious deeds are not means to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.*****

Mundaka Upanishad: - The study of the Vedas, linguistics, Rituals, astronomy and all the arts Can be called lower knowledge. The higher Is that which leads to Self-realization. The eye cannot see it; mind cannot grasp it. The deathless Self has neither caste nor race, Neither eyes not ears nor hands nor feet. Sages say this Self is infinite in the great And in the small, everlasting and changeless, The source of life.

The so-called enlightened Gurus who promise instant enlightenment for money are not Gnanis. The seeker of truth has to be very careful if he is seeking truth nothing but truth.

The seeker who is pursuing the path of wisdom need not fall into trap of physical Guru. Devotion to Physical Guru is the devotional path not the path of wisdom.  Religious people follow the path of Bhakti and yogic path.

Listening to the sermons of Gurus or Yogis or by the study of scriptures or by meritorious deeds are not means to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is attainable only through association with the Gnanis and the clear quest of the ultimate truth.

The ultimate truth has to be ascertained without the Guru by realizing the ‘Self ‘is not you but the ‘Self ‘is formless Soul which is present in the form of the consciousness.

In the realm of truth the form, time and space are created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness. Realizing the single stuff as ultimate truth is Self-realization or truth realization. To realize this truth there is no need of a Guru.

People takes whatever it thinks as truth. The question never occurs to then “Is what the Guru teaches is really the truth?"

So many scandals of the fake Gurus are exposed in recent times.  The darker side of modern Gurudom of fake Gurus and yogis so embarrassing~ sometimes vicious or criminal~ reports which they prefer to hide.

If one seeking truth nothing but the truth he has to keep in mind, the truth cannot be bought in the spiritual supermarket.

So-called spiritual pundits and learned are called children because a child takes whatever it thinks as truth. The question never occurs to children “Is what I have seen or thought really the truth?"

Really no time is required if the seeker is sharp enough to grasp the Advaitic truth. All the accumulated knowledge and religious condition block the realization.  All the seeker need is,  an intense urge to realize the truth. If the seeker is serious and sincere, he has it. After all, it is a matter of attitude.

When wisdom dawns, one realizes the whole universe in which we exist is created out of a single stuff. That single stuff is the Soul which is present in the form of the consciousness. The knowledge of the single stuff is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Nothing stops you from being a Gnani, right in this very life, not in next life or next world.   Fear of losing your physical identity people are afraid to inquire.

No mantras will help to get self-realization. Mantras are the religious fable.  The ignorance will not vanish by repeating mantras.  By repeating mantras ignorance become deep rooted.

When the’ Self’ is not you what is the use of you repeating the mantras, which keep the Soul, in the prison of the dualistic illusion.   Thus, it is necessary to realize the ‘Self' is not you but the ‘Self’ is the formless Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness. Only when you realize the Self is not you then only the ignorance vanishes.

Only religious and yogic path they prescribe mantras.  Religious and yogic paths are egocentric path whereas the path of wisdom is the Soulcentric path.

That is why Sage Sri, Sankara: ~  VC~.61~ For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae) and medicines to such a one?

VC-  v6~ Let erudite scholars quote all the scripture, let Gods be invoked through sacrifices, let elaborate rituals be performed, let personal Gods be propitiated---yet, without the realization of one‘s identity With the Self, there shall be no liberation for the individual, not  even in the lifetimes of a hundred Brahmas put together.

Sage Sri, Sankara goes on to say: ~A sickness of not cured by saying the word “medicine.” You must take the medicine. Liberation does not come by merely saying the word “Brahman.” Brahman must be experienced. Until you allow this apparent universe to dissolve from your consciousness until you have realized Brahman, how can you find liberation just by saying the word Brahman? The result is merely a noise. Until a man has destroyed his enemies and taken possession of the splendor and wealth of the kingdom, he cannot become a king by simply saying “I am a king.”

A buried treasure is not uncovered by merely uttering the words: “Come forth.” You must follow the right directions, dig, remove the stones and earth from above it, and then make it your own. In the same way, the pure truth of the Atman, which is buried under Maya and the effects of Maya can be reached by meditation, contemplation, but never by subtle arguments. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Religion is nothing to do with Advaita. Advaitic sect belongs to religion. Advaita is pure spirituality.*****

Religion is nothing to do with Advaita. Advaitic sect belongs to religion. Advaita is pure spirituality. Advaitic sect is dualistic is nothing to do with the Advaitic truth which is hidden by the illusion.
Mixing religion and spirituality is like mixing oil and water.
Religion is regarded as sacred and real by the common people, by the wise as false and by the rulers as useful.
The religion and its sects are based on the form, time, and space whereas the Spirituality is based on the Atman the formless, timeless and spaceless existence.
Religions hold the birth, life, death and the world as a reality. From the ultimate standpoint, the world in which we exist is an illusion created out he the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness.
The seeker must know the difference between the religion and spirituality. Many people think the religion itself as spirituality.
Spirituality leads to discovering the truth which is hidden by the form, time, and space.
Advaita is universal. Advaita is not for Sale. Do not buy Advaita from the spiritual supermarket. Advaita is the nature of the Soul, the innermost Self.
The world in which you exist is created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness. Knowledge of the single stuff is Advaitic wisdom.
Advaitic truth is very simple, but it is very difficult to realize because you have accumulated mental garbage from different sources in the name of Advaita. Until you discard all the accumulated knowledge you will never be able to realize the Advaitic truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.
The Advaita is the nature of the Soul, the 'Self' shines on its own its awareness when wisdom dawns.
The Advaita is the Soul is the cause and the support of all that exists as the world in which we exist.
The Advaita is present in the form of the consciousness. Advaita is the root element of the universe. From the Advaita, the universe comes into existence. In the Advaita, the universe resides. And into the Advaita, the universe is dissolved. The Advaita is the parent of all that is there is. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The ‘I’ is blocking your Self-realization.*****

Most of the Gurus and Yogis approach was more practical, and they stuck with the reality of the 'I', they take it as real. All their teachings of Advaita is based on the dualistic perspective. They describe marvelously the goal but does not indicate the steps to be taken: their recurring phrases "unified consciousness" and "let go" and "'love alone" are not a road-map. Such teaching will not yield the truth of the whole.
Many Gurus describes to perfection is the awakening to Reality ~the realization that pure Consciousness alone is, that the perpetually fluctuating and evanescent contents of the mind derive from it. This awakening effectively happens in an instant. But in order for the lightning flash to take place, resulting in a firm and unshakable certitude, a long labor is necessary, which they seem to underestimate. “Truth is a formless is their answer.
Many Guru's teaching seems essentially negative, a potent but bitter medicine for those imprisoned by institutional cults. They break the disciple's bonds but then lead him to a vast desert where they abandon him.
The ‘I’ is blocking your Self-realization.
The ‘I’ based teachings have to be discarded in order to realize the Advaitic reality.
The seeker has to make sure what is this ‘I’ supposed to be? The seeker has to make sure the unreal nature of the ‘I’ which comes and goes in order to realize the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space
That is why Bhagavad Gita says: ~ “The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)
The ‘I’ hides the truth of the whole.
Where there is ‘I’ there is ignorance.
Where there is ignorance there is separation.
Where there is a separation there is duality.
Where there is duality there is an illusion.
Where there is illusion there is mind.
Where there is mind there is the universe.
Where there is universe there is waking or dream.
Where there is universe there is waking or dream there is form, time, and space
But
Where there is no ‘I’ there is no ignorance.
Where there is no ignorance there is no separation.
Where there is no separation there is no duality.
Where there is no duality there is no illusion.
Where there is no illusion there is no mind.
Where there is no mind there is no universe.
Where there is no universe there is no waking or dream.
Where there is no waking or dream there is no form, time, and space
When there are no divisions of the form, time, and space, there is the Advaitic reality.
Perfect understanding of ‘what is what leads to the realization of Advaitic truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.
Without knowing ‘what mind is in actuality how you can know the consciousness? Playing with words is not spirituality. The consciousness is the cause of the mind and it itself is uncaused.
Preaching teaching is not wisdom. only through perfect understanding and realization of ‘what is what leads to the realization of the truth, which is hidden within the form, time, and space and it is without the form, time, and space.
The consciousness is not an object but it’s the subject. Knowledge of both object and subject is ‘Self’-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

There is a need to bifurcate religion from spirituality.*****

There is a need to bifurcate religion from spirituality. People think the religion is the stepping stone for Self-realization but it is not so. The religion is based on the ignorance and it keeps the seeker permanently in ignorance by hiding the truth with its mythical beliefs and dogmas and superstition. According to Vedas and Upanishads, all the religious propagated beliefs are a myth.
Whereas the Spirituality is based on the Sprit, which is the cause of the world in which we exist.
As one goes deeper in annals of the history he becomes aware of the fact that, the so-called present Hinduism has adopted many things from Buddhism, the religion of Abraham, Jainism, and Islam. If one goes deeper enough he will become aware everything is mixed up and messed up in time.
Sage Sri Sankara endeavored towards establishing Vedic religion overthrowing Buddhism. But even he was not able to avoid the influence of Buddhism. The influence of the revolutionary atmosphere of Buddhism has reappeared in the Advaita of Sage Sri, Sankara. His inability to revive Vedic religion that flourished before the Buddhist revolution in its pure form is discernible.
No one is taken pains to rectify it because; because people have been inherited them, from their ancestors and they think it is blasphemy even to hear anything against their inherited religion and belief.Once one gets involved with the religious class it is the end of the pursuit of truth.
The theistic (orthodoxy) Advaita is based on dualistic perspective but Advaita philosophy is based on the nondualistic perspective. The theistic (orthodoxy) Advaita bifurcated from Advaitic philosophy. The theistic (dualistic) Advaita is meant for the ignorant populace.
Sage Sri, Sankara and Sage Sri, Goudpada are independent thinkers other schools of Indian philosophy are mere theologies. Advaitic philosophy is real philosophy. The dualistic philosophy cannot escape the charge of dogmatism.
Advaitic wisdom propagated by Sage Sri, Sankara is on non-dualistic perspective.
There is no need to study neither Advaita Vedanta nor Vedas nor Buddhism to realize ultimate truth or Brahman. It is no use going roundabout way; trace the Brahman.
Philosophy does not begin with the ultimate truth. Ultimate truth has to be proved, not assumed. Hence, so-called philosophers who take Brahman for granted are not philosophers at all.
Lots of Advaitin scholars will teach that all is yourself, but none of them can show that this is so, none has analyzed it scientifically, and none can prove it. Rational proof is required so that one arrive at knowing the ultimate truth or Brahman i.e. Gnana. Theirs is mere dogma, parrotism, repetition of what they read in scripture. Authoritarianism merely assumes as true what another says, but what has yet to be proved.
Sage Sri, Sankara said:~ Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many Gods as you please, observe ceremonies and sing devotional hymns, but the liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.
Sage Sri, Sankara ’says:~ Gnana is common to all religions.
There is nothing like One Gnana for a Hindu and another for a Christian.
The entire philosophy of Sage Sri, Sankara can be summed up in the following statement:-
Brahma satyam, jaganmithya, jivobrahmaivanaparah: - Brahman alone is real; the world is non-real, and the individual ‘Self’ is essentially not different from Brahman.
This is the quintessence of Sage Sri, Sankara’s metaphysics. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

A Gnani.*****

Sage Sri, Sankara says:~ "The knower of Brahman wears no signs. Gives up the insignia of a monk's life…his signs are not manifest, nor his behavior."
Sage Sri, Sankara says:~VC (2) -the Knower of the Atman (i.e., a Gnani) "bears no outward mark of a holy man" (Stanza 539).
It means the Knower of the Atman (i.e., a Gnani) "bears no outward mark of a holy man.  Thus the religious Gurus are nothing to do with the path of wisdom. All the religious based Advaita is meant for the mass that is incapable of grasping the truth beyond form, time and space.   Thus the religious idea of God, Guru and scriptural studies are nothing to do with the path of wisdom or Brahman.
The seeker must examine whatever propagated as Advaitic Gnana under the mental microscope." It means the seeker must bring notions and beliefs out of vagueness into clearness. The mystics who claim superior knowledge but who cannot communicate it for purposes of verification.
People’s observation is based on dualistic (matter or body or ego) perspective, whereas A Gnani’s judgment is based on the nondualistic (Soul or Spirit or consciousness) perspective.  There are neither you, nor me, nor does the world exist as reality, when the Soul, the 'Self' remains its own awareness.  Thus what value is there when you and your experience of the world are one in essence? That essence is Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness (Spirit).
A Gnani is fully aware of ‘what is truth’ and ‘what is untruth’.  A Gnani is fully conscious of the unreal nature of the waking experience. Thus, life within the waking experience will go on.   The three states nothing to do with the Soul, the 'Self'.  The waking or dream is merely an object to the formless witness. The Self or witness is nothing to do with the three states because it is merely the witness of the three states (illusion).
Having realized the truth, beyond the form, time and space a Gnani sees the world in which he exists as the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness. For a Gnani the whole world is nothing but the consciousness.
A Gnani never knows any mantra in Vedic meter or any Tantra not he indulges in religious rituals or worship of religious Gods. A Gnani sees no difference between happiness and misery, man and woman, Adversity and success. Everything is seen to be the same.
A Gnani is not conflicted by the dualistic illusion. He is fully aware the Self is the fullness of the consciousness.
Knowing for certain that all is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness, the Gnani never says “I am this” or “I am not that.”
The sage who finds stillness is neither distracted nor focused. He knows the pleasure pain and the world are one, in essence. Ignorance dispelled, he is free of knowing.
No ordinary man can identify a Gnani without the knowledge of the ‘Self’ hidden by the ignorance (I). A Gnani possess is their ability to express the Advaitic wisdom. After Self-realization, Gnanis are those who are in Self-awareness in the midst of the dualistic illusion (world).
A Gnani has no other awareness than the Self-awareness, and is for a Gnani everything has become consciousness.  In Self-awareness, the ‘Soul’ the ‘Self’ is God and remains as God!
A Gnani sees only unity in diversity, just like a goldsmith is estimating the gold in various items of jewelry sees only gold. Thus, the Goldsmith everything is gold in jewelry. Same way Gnani knows the universe is nothing but an illusion created out of the consciousness.
A Gnani works for the upliftment of humanity from the ignorance. A  Gnani is he who enjoys the worldly life, but simultaneously suffers the suffering of the world. Outwardly, he looks like an ordinary man; but inwardly, he cannot be understood.  Gnani’s duty is to share the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana for the betterment of the humanity.
Select Works of Sankara" also his commentary on Brihad: ~ “Though I wear these robes of a Sannyasin, it is only for the sake of bread."
Guru ‘s interpretations of sacred texts, the force of religious merit ~ none of these lead to the realization of that Ultimate Truth which is revealed in the clear reflection of the Soul, the innermost Self.
Even the best of the world’s Guru cannot transmit wisdom. Loud sermons consisting of a shower of ornamental words, the skill in expounding the egocentric knowledge, and likewise erudition ~ these merely bring on a little personal enjoyment to the Guru but are no good for Self-realization.
A Guru is useless so long as the ultimate truth is unknown, and it is equally useless when the ultimate truth has already been known. By sticking to some Guru and surrendering to him, the Advaitic wisdom will not dawn. Surrendering is the religious fable. Surrendering is nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman. Surrender implies the duality. There is no duality in reality.
By simply saying surrender without realizing the ultimate truth is like trying to sweeten the sea water by putting a spoon of sugar.
Guru’s sermons consisting of ornamental words merely please the taste of the religious mindset. Hence, seeker of truth should earnestly set about realizing the truth beyond the form, time and space.
People are unaware of the fact that, the world in which he exists is a product of the ignorance. Self- knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is the only remedy to get rid of the ignorance. There is no use of the religion, the religious Gods, Gurus, Yogis and the Scriptures, rituals to acquire Self- knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
Ignorance does not leave off if one simply utters the name of Guru's name. Without direct realization, the Soul cannot be liberated by the mere repeating the name of the Guru or God. The seeker has to remember the name belongs to the domain of the illusory form, time and space.
For Gnani the world is an illusion. Viewed from the absolute there's neither birth nor life nor death, neither appearance nor disappearance, neither production nor destruction, neither bondage nor liberation. There's none who seeks for freedom nor is there any who is liberated - this is the highest truth.
A Gnani know that there's neither unity nor plurality - the world is neither one nor many. Just as a piece of rope is mistaken for a snake, the Atman is mistaken as this diverse world. Duality is an appearance and the non-dual Atman is the real truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

You and your body and the world in which you exist are nothing but consciousness because they are mere an illusion created out of the consciousness.*****

Sage Sri, Sankara said:~Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many Gods as you please, observe ceremonies and sing devotional hymns, but liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.

Even though people have read e philosophy and may be able to explain things to others, all these philosophies are worthless pieces of paper unless the ‘truth’, which is hidden by the illusory form, time and space is realized.

Sage Sri, Sankara said:~  VC-  v6~ Let erudite scholars quote all the scripture, let Gods be invoked through sacrifices, let elaborate rituals be performed, let personal Gods be propitiated---yet, without the realization of one‘s identity With the Self, there shall be no liberation for the individual, not  even in the lifetimes of a hundred Brahmas put together.

One can never attain spiritual perfection without a perfect understanding of what is ‘what’.  A Gnani finds the content of all the philosophical books as playthings.
Sage Sri, Sankara says: ~ VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense organs, etc., which are unreal.
People dwelling in the ignorance, but thinking themselves wise and erudite, go round and round by various blind beliefs and tortuous paths and practices, like the blind led by the blind.
The truth seekers from different walks of life from all over the world are struggling to know the mystery of their own existence. Due to inborn and the inherited conditioning or samskara, it becomes difficult to grasp the truth, which is beyond form, time and space.

Religious beliefs, social and cultural bondage, personal predilections and phobias become a great obstacle to discovering the ultimate truth. However, an intense inner urge to know the ultimate truth will not be satisfied until the journey to the unknown is completed. The seeker has to cross many obstacles and barricade injected by religion and society and beliefs and behaviors.

The fact is something which has to be proved beyond all doubts and cannot be challenged. The truth cannot be found in an antique shop there is no use of trying one old idea to another it leads towards confusion. Nothing can be achieved or attained since the very base of seeking truth is based on the false Self (ego) and false experience (waking).

The seeker has to learn to view and judge the three states on the standpoint of the Soul, the innermost Self.  Only when the seeker becomes Soulcentric then the truth will start unfolding gradually according to the spiritual maturity of the seeker.

When the Soul wakes up from its sleep of ignorance the there is no more diversity. The diversity is mere an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness.
The Advaitic truth is very simple, but it is very difficult to grasp because of the ignorance. You have to only realize the world in which you exist is created out of single clay. And that single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness.
Thus, you and your body and the world in which you exist are nothing but consciousness because they are mere an illusion created out of the consciousness. Perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed.

A Gnani can point at the sky, but the seeing of the star is the seeker's own work.
It is necessary to reflect on the same truth again and again till it becomes a reality. One needs to constantly reflect on the subject until he gets a firm conviction of what is what. Words are needed until one gets a firm conviction of ‘what is what’. People need reading and hearing the words of wisdom to think reason and reflect deeply and reach the ultimate end.
It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of ‘what is truth’ and ‘’what is untruth’. It takes time for the Soul, the innermost Self to wake up from the sleep of ignorance, and it takes time for one realizes the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana or knowledge of the Spirit, the real God is hidden by the ‘I’, which is ignorance.*****

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is not the knowledge of religion its religious Gods. Religion its religious Gods is nothing to do with Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana or knowledge of the Spirit, the real God is hidden by the ‘I’, which is ignorance.
Isa Upanishads indicates that: ~ “By worshipping Gods and Goddesses and going to the world of Gods after death is of no use.  The time one spends in ritualistic practices is wasted; one can spend same time moving forward towards Self-knowledge, which is the main goal. One cannot reach the nondual destination by glorifying God and Goddesses and by doing that, one goes deeper and deeper into darkness. It surely indicates the fact that, the seeker of truth has to drop the worshiping God and Goddess in order to get Self-knowledge.
Ish Upanishad declares: - Those people who have neglected the attainment of Self-knowledge and have thus committed suicide.

10/11/12

Those people who have neglected the attainment of Self-knowledge and have thus committed suicide, as it were, are doomed to enter those worlds after death.

This is a condemnation of people who do not try to attain Self-knowledge. They are, in a real sense, committing suicide, for what can be worse than being a slave to sense enjoyment, completely oblivious of the real purpose of life, which is to be one’s own master?

Ish Upanishads:-

MANTRA 10

Vidya and Avidya both are hindrances to Self-knowledge, but Vidya is even worse than Avidya. The word Vidya is used here in a special sense; here it means worshipping Gods and Goddesses. By worshipping Gods and Goddesses you will go after death to the world of Gods and Goddesses. But will that help you? The time you spent there is wasted because if you were not there you could have spent that time moving forward towards Self-knowledge, which is your goal. In the world of Gods and Goddesses you cannot do that, and thus you go deeper and deeper into darkness.

Avidya is Karma and therefore a hindrance. You perform Avidya - i.e., you perform Agnihotra and other sacrifices. This is a roundabout way of purifying the mind, and it is also groping in the dark. But it may not have as heavy a toll on your time and energy as the other.

Ishopanishad: ~ They are steeped in ignorance and sunk into the greatest depth of misery who worships the matter, instead of the All-Pervading God and those who worship things born of matter like trees, animals, man, etc. are sunk deeper in misery."

It is necessary for the seeker to do his homework, and verify the validity of all the claims, rather than blindly believe, what others expound as knowledge, till; the un-contradicted truth is obtained.
The seeker must have the courage of Bhagavan Buddha to accept the truth and reject the untruth. Since Bhagavan Buddha rejected religion, the idea of God and scriptures, therefore, it is evident that he has gone through every aspect and verified and found them to be inadequate and useless for the pursuit of truth.
People’s observation is based on dualistic (matter or body or ego) perspective, whereas a Gnani’s judgment is based on the nondualistic (Soul or Spirit or consciousness) perspective.  There is neither the projection (the world in we all exist), nor the projector exists as a reality, when the Soul, the innermost 'Self' remains its own awareness.

The Soul remains in its own awareness when wisdom dawns. The purpose of the spiritual pursuit is to realize the whole universe in, which we exist, is created out of single stuff. And that single stuff is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The Soul is the innermost Self. On the standpoint of the Soul, the innermost Self, the three states are mere an illusion.

God cannot be brought down to the domain of duality. There is only one being in reality, and it is the Soul, the innermost Self.  The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness pervades in everything and everywhere in all the three states. Thus, the Soul or consciousness is ultimate truth or Brahman. Brahman is God.  When one realizes the form, time and space are one in essence. And that essence is the consciousness, then he realizes there is no second thing exist other than the consciousness. Thus, everything is the consciousness. Thus, the consciousness is the ultimate truth. And ultimate truth is God. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The universe is verily the consciousness. Without realizing ‘this truth is impossible to get Self- realization.*****

Advaitic wisdom does not come just by sitting quietly, observing silence, and meditating, indulging in repeating mantras, indulging in rituals, worshipping non-Vedic gods reading books,  singing devotional songs, hearing sermons, meeting Gurus or yogis and by doing pranayama, but wisdom dawns only when you realize the fact that, the ‘Self’ is not you, but the ‘Self’ is the formless Soul.

Sage Sri, Sankara says: ~ “When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman (Spirit), and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman”.

Sage Sri, Sankara says: ~ V.63 ~ "Without knowing and examining the external world, one can’t know Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.

The universe is verily the consciousness. Without realizing ‘this truth is impossible to get Self- realization.  The universe is not different from the Mind because the universe itself is mind.  The mind is not different from the Soul because the mind is the dualistic illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness.

Thus, the universe is nothing but the consciousness. The universe is unreal because it is not absolute and eternal like the consciousness.

Sage Sri, Sankara says:  It is impossible for any human being to challenge successfully the Advaitic position.

All these experiences as a father, son, Guru, and pupil the world in which they all exist were one and the same consciousness appearing differently. All these distinctions disappear when one realizes the ‘Self’ is not ‘I’ but the Soul. The Soul is the cause of this world in which we exist and it itself is uncaused.

Perfect understanding and realization of ‘what is what’ leads Self-awareness. By holding on to theories one remains in the realm of duality. You have to mentally go on dropping what is not truth through deeper Self-search. Finally when you becomes aware of the fact that, your ego, your body, and the world are one in essence then there is Self-awareness in the midst of duality.

Realize ~ your body and the world, in which you exist are made of the same stuff.

Realize ~ the three states are made of the same stuff.

Realize ~ duality is created out of nondual stuff.

Realize ~ there is no inside and outside.

Realize ~ matter is nothing but Spirit.

Realize ~ there is no the above or below.

Realize ~ the form; time and space are one in essence.

Realize ~ the ‘Soul' is neither the male nor the female.

Realize ~ the world in which you exist is not the world, but it is the Spirit.

Realize ~ the Soul, the ‘Self’ is not human but the Spirit.

Rest in Spirit by realizing the world in which you exist is nothing but the Spirit.

Sage Sri, Sankara does not believe in the books. Sage Sri, Sankara denies the authority of any book over any other book. Sage Sri, Sankara denies emphatically any one book contain all the truths about Brahman or God, Soul, the ultimate reality.

It is impossible to realize the Self through bookish knowledge. A feeling of profound respect for physical Guru is still more difficult to uphold. If you are seeking truth know must not cling to any physical Guru or his teaching.  : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
