Sage Sri Sankara’:~ VC ~293 The whole
objective world is non-real. Neither is the ego real, for it is seen to be
momentary. How then can the apparent notion "I know all" be true when
the ego etc., are themselves momentary?
Realize the Self is not you, but the Soul is the Self. The Soul the
innermost Self, witnesses you and your experience of the world.
Sage Sri Sankara: ~ “VC~ 294 ~ But the real ‘Self’
witnesses the ego etc. and is always there, even in deep-sleep. "It is
Unborn, Eternal," as the Sruti itself says. It is the inmost Self,
different from the (relative) truth and untruth.
Sage Sri,
Sankara: ~ VC-
63. Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the
truth of the ‘Self’ how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of
the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.
This universe is nothing but the Soul, which is
present in the form of the consciousness.
From the Soul, the universe appears and when the universe disappears
from the consciousness, the consciousness still remains without any division of
the form, time and space.
Sage Sri, Sankara says you must first know what is before you. If you
cannot know that, what else can you know or understand? If you give up the
external world in your inquiry, you cannot get the whole truth.
The universe in which you exist is nothing
but an illusion.
Sage Sri, Sankara says: ~ V.63 ~ "Without
knowing and examining the external world, one can’t know Truth, as the idea
that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the
nature of the external world.
Sage Sri Sankara says: ~ “What is accepted without proper inquiry will not lead
to the final Goal. (Commentary
on Veanta Sutra)
Sage Sri, Sankara says: ~ “V C: ~65. As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent
instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying
above it and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called
out by name, so the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by Maya and
its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman,
followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverted
arguments.
The consciousness is the root element of the
universe. From the consciousness the universe comes into existence. In the
consciousness the universe resides. And into the consciousness the universe is
dissolved. The consciousness is the
parent of all that is there is.
The Soul which is present in the form of
consciousness is ultimate truth or Brahman or God. Thus, everything is God
nothing but God.
The consciousness is one
without the second because the universe is an illusion created out of the
consciousness. Thus, universe is nothing but the consciousness. No second thing
exist other than the consciousness. The consciousness alone is real and
eternal.
Advaitic truth has to be
grasped mentally by realizing the form, time and space are one, in essence.
In reality, three is no scope for two. Advaita means one without the
second. Advaita means the Soul. The Soul, which is present in the form of the
consciousness, is one without the second.
Sage Sri Sankara: ~
“VC~ All this universe which
through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman
which is absolutely free from all the limitations of human thought.
The Soul appears as the universe and the universe
disappears as the Soul. The Soul is the universe and
the universe is the Soul. The universe
is merely an illusion created out of the
Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness. The illusion and the reality are nothing but
the consciousness. Thus, the consciousness alone is real and eternal.
The world, in
which you exist, is an illusion. The illusion is created out of the Soul, the
innermost ‘Self.’ The Soul is present in the form of the consciousness. The one which exists with or without the
illusion is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness. The consciousness alone IS.
Sage Sri, Sankara: ~VC~ if the universe be true, let it then be perceived
in the state of deep sleep also. As it is not at all perceived, it must be
unreal and false like dreams.
When the world in which you exist e, is
known to be an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form
of the consciousness, and thus, the existence the world in which you exist is
negated, where is then any room to say that the ‘I’ is the ‘‘Self’?
The
seeker of truth, pass his time always contemplating on Soul while he is in the
dualistic illusion; to realize the truth, which is beyond the form, time and
space.
The theory one hears of from the scripture,
scholars and Gurus that ignorance does not lose its hold upon one even after intellectually
knowing the truth. One must realize the truth with firm conviction that the Soul
alone is real and eternal.
After acquiring the ‘Self’- knowledge or Brahma
Gnana or Atma Gnana, ignorance verily ceases to exist, inasmuch as the world in
which one exists become non-existent as a reality; just as a dream does not
exist on waking as a reality.
Just as the dream world is superimposed
(and therefore illusory), so is also this the waking world in which we exist.
The one which is born lives and dies within
the world in which he exists is not the ‘‘Self’’ because the ‘‘Self’’ is
birthless and deathless because it is the ever formless, timeless and spaceless
existence. The birth, life and death are possible only in the domain of the
form, time and space. On the standpoint
of the Soul, the innermost ‘Self’, the form, time and space are mere an
illusion. The Soul is unborn because it is the ever formless, timeless and
spaceless existence. Thus, the
individual experiences of the birth, life, death and the world are mere an
illusion because it is happened within the dualistic illusion.
Thus, it is time to realize the world in
which we exist is created out of the Soul, which is the innermost ‘Self’. The Soul,
which is present in the form of the consciousness is the cause of the world in
which we exist and it itself is uncaused. The Soul alone is real and eternal.
The eternal Soul itself is God. There is
no other God other than the Soul, which is present in the form of the
consciousness.
Realize the Soul, the innermost is the ultimate
truth or Brahman or God. The Soul, which is present in the form of the
consciousness itself, is God. The consciousness is the cause of the world in
which you exist. And the consciousness itself’ is uncaused.
Thus, the truth realization itself is God-realization because the ultimate truth is Brahman or God . The ‘Self’-realization is God-realization and God- realization is real worship.
Thus, the truth realization itself is God-realization because the ultimate truth is Brahman or God . The ‘Self’-realization is God-realization and God- realization is real worship.
Nothing has to be accepted as God other than the Soul,
which is present in the form of the consciousness. Atman is Brahman means the Soul
alone is God. Atman is Advaitic God. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
